What is One Choice?

Hello, my name is Alan DeMarco. One Choice was an idea that transpired through our Sunday school study on the series "Radical" and progressed with input from several people. It would not be possible without Gods leading. I hope this is a way to share our experiences, primarily with teenagers, in an effort to reach today's youth and encourage them to see the importance of making good choices at an early age and share some of the consequences we have faced as a result of some of my choices early on in life. Also encouraging teens to choose for themselves, and trust their instincts and go against the crowd, and ultimately lead others. It is my hope by sharing our experience and where our lives are now as a result of different choices, that some of the mistakes we have made and the hurts we have caused and felt, could be avoided by others, teens and adults alike.

In addition to our youth though, One Choice is important for each and every one of us. I encourage you no matter where you are in your life to count the cost of any choice you are considering and seek the advice of others. If you have a story, SHARE IT! Your story can help others learn or heal. The most important thing you can ever give a hurting person is an ear. It is our hope this blog will be a place for you to come and be encouraged and share choices you are being faced with if you need too, in a community of hope and trust, or respond to others, by sharing your own experiences or just listening to them and offering them encouragement.

Being young is one of the most trying yet rewarding times of your life. Each and every one of us have something to offer to impact and change the world with. In our remaining time here, lets choose to get out and share our story with others with an ultimate belief that our youth and each and every one of us will make the kinds of choices that we will be happy to live with forever! To make a difference to those around us in a positive way and impact tomorrows world!

I do not claim to have the answers, only the ability to consult the One who does. I encourage you to consider and consult Him in all the choices you make. I assure you when He is the reason for your choice your choices will be the right ones!
