"Thus I say unto you, My children, hold fast in the liberty wherein I have set you free and allow not man to bring you back into subjection. The children of Israel through many hard lessons learned to accept the leadership of Moses, but this was obedience, not BONDAGE. They were taught to respect God-ordained authority, but they were severely punished when they expressed a desire to return to the slavery of Egypt for the comfort of the flesh and satisfaction of carnal appetites. Many times they would gladly have exchanged the disciplines of freedom for the ease of slavery, for slavery imposes no responsibility for individual action. Personal response to the challenge of a higher call is impossible to the slave, so the soul is bound as well as the body."
